About me

KMB: I have been working at EHS for 8 years and have been fortunate to teach a wide variety of courses in my tenure at Edina including: AP American Lit, American Lit, Contemporary Lit, Public Speakng, Enriched English 10, and English 10. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and my Master's in Teaching from the University of St. Thomas. I love my job and the opportunity it affords me to interact with kids and help them to become more critical thinkers and better writers. In my time outside of school, I love to go to movies and the Guthrie. I am an avid backpacker and camper and have recently started competing in triathlons. Reading is also a favorite, but that sort of goes without saying. I am married to a gregarious guy named Erik and have two active and talkative children named Owen (5) and Ava Belle (3).
